Endoscopy Procedures
Endoscopy is a safe, effective method of examining the lining of the gastrointestinal tract, using a long, thin, flexible, tubular instrument with a tiny video camera and light on the end. It is used to diagnose gastrointestinal problems and to take biopsies, remove polyps, and perform other procedures. Most endoscopy procedures are done as day cases with minimal inconvenience and discomfort.
